Guests can choose from three accommodation types. The Log Cabins are rustic units with a romantic ambience, the Rondavels are spacious thatched huts with an organic feel from Africa, and the Kaia Rooms are cosy semi-detached private units.

The restaurant at Old Joe's has become well known in its own right, specialising in cuisine that is creative, yet wholesome with a country flair and carefully sourced wines.

Apart from tranquillity in a beautiful setting, Old Joe's Kaia has much to offer guests. Bird watchers have a diverse range of birds (about 210 species) to identify, while hikers, both novice and experienced, have a broad range of trails to explore. Adventure enthusiasts such as mountain bikers, quad bikers, trail runners, mountain climbers, swimmers, and river rafters are well catered for either on the premises or within close proximity.

The natural setting of Old Joe's Kaia is ideal for medium sized team building events. A specialised one day treasure hunting event has been developed to optimise both the surrounds and the benefits to participants.
